BUILDING HISTORY

Learn More About the Cleveland Twist Drill Building

The Cleveland Twist Drill Company came to be in Cleveland in 1876 and moved in 1888 to grow and expand over its lifetime at the current Lakeside address. Cleveland Twist Drill grew so much it became the largest maker of high-speed drills and reamers. After merging with Natl. Acme Co in 1968 and remaining one of the largest manufacturers as Acme-Cleveland Corp. the company sold the Cleveland Twist Drill Co to a competitor in 1994 and ultimately closed its doors.

Fast forward to 2021 and part of the historic space has been transformed into the event venue of your dreams! The sky is the limit and that's the way we like it.
